Super excited to be rolling out this part of the process. This distributes the allocation more equitably among the devs and builders who have done a ton to make LZ what it is today. They can distribute their allocation according to their own criteria and what's most valuable to them.

Today, LayerZero introduces the Protocol RFP, marking the first step toward finalizing the TGE allocation. Developers are the lifeblood of LayerZero – this RFP allows each project to establish its own allocation criteria relative to its overall token allocation. Additionally, we’re asking each team to provide a developer’s address so that the development team can receive a 10% allocation directly to the developers. The eligibility criteria, guidelines, and submission process are listed in the following forum: commonwealth.im/layerzero/disc… Note: The Protocol RFP is just one aspect of TGE. More information about token distribution, including a separate user allocation and future protocol allocations will be provided soon.
