@SkyNews So no mention of rockets from Lebanon terrorizing Israelis? Hezbollah are a militarized terrorist group operating in plain sight in Lebanon.

BREAKING: Sir Keir Starmer says Israeli bombing of Lebanon is 'wrong' and 'should stop now'. The prime minister also tells MPs in the Commons: "We call for Lebanon to be included, urgently, in the ceasefire." 🔗 trib.al/JsAksx7

Upcoming negotiations will fail if we don’t restrain the Israelis & stop giving them access to our decision making. The Israelis push for zero uranium enrichment because they know it’s a poison pill for Iran & will result in the war continuing. Iran has committed to not developing or obtaining a nuclear weapon since 2003. A deal can be reached about uranium enrichment lvls & monitoring - ending the war & opening the SOH. This can only happen if we treat the Israelis like the junior partner & put our interests 1st.
Barak Ravid@BarakRavid

Netanyahu at a cabinet meeting: "I spoke yesterday with Vice President J.D. Vance. He called me from his plane on his way back from Islamabad. He reported to me in detail, as this administration does every day, about the development of the negotiations. In this case, the explosion in the negotiations. The explosion came from the American side, which could not tolerate Iran's blatant violation of the agreement to enter the negotiations. The agreement was that they would cease fire, and the Iranians would immediately open the gates. They did not do that. The Americans could not accept that. He also made it clear to me that the main issue on the agenda for President Trump and the United States is the removal of all enriched material, and ensuring that there is no more enrichment in the coming years, and that could be in decades, no enrichment within Iran. That is their focus, and of course it is also important to us."

@AlphaDeity1 @realgerhardtvdm Also, Iran imports a lot of wheat, seedoils, corn, soybeans via the straits. Without food, people will revolt.

@realgerhardtvdm Ready? I’ll pretend you’re a 7 year old: Iran has one way to make money. That goes to paying soldiers, etc. That one way to make money is selling their oil. The blockade blocks any Iranian ship from coming in, or going out. Have you ever seen soldiers fight without pay?

@realgerhardtvdm It's actually quite brilliant. Iran needs the straits open more than any other country. Trump has put them in check mate.

The ongoing closure of the Strait of Hormuz is deeply damaging. Getting global shipping moving is vital to ease cost of living pressures. The UK has convened more than 40 nations who share our aim to restore freedom of navigation. This week the UK and France will co-host a summit to advance work on a coordinated, independent, multinational plan to safeguard international shipping when the conflict ends.

@Keir_Starmer Perhaps begin by helping to end the conflict, which is the reason why the Strait now has restricted access. It was completely open before the U.S and Israel attacked Iran.

@War_Radar2 So Starmer is fine with Iran taking control of the straits but will fight the US if they try to do the same. Nah, don't believe it.

‼️🇬🇧 UK PM Keir Starmer: We will not join Strait blockade. Britain says it is urgently working with France, Spain and other partners to build a coalition to protect freedom of navigation. “The US cannot dictate how others manage their affairs.”

@VincentJCurtis1 @FurkanGozukara I don't think people realize how dependent the straits are for Iranian food imports. Iran imports nearly all of its corn and substantial volumes of wheat and soybeans via the straits. If you can't feed your people, there will be revolution.

@FurkanGozukara The outcome is that Iran has no deal. They won't be able to charge tolls on passing ships, and the bombing will resume this week. The regime, who thought JD was a patsy, are now doomed. They wouldn't deal.

@TomLondon6 @MichaelCressw14 The BIG QUESTION: Criminal Trump said he will block the strait. Iran has allowed Chinese tanker ships passage through the strait. Will the U.S. navy try to stop Chinese ships? If China orders their crews to not stop for the U.S. navy do we open fire?

@TomLondon6 You're missing quite a lot. First, Iran depends on the straits for food imports (mostly wheat). Second, Iran depends on oil sales to fund its police state and terror proxies. No food for the people and no pay for security police mean domestic revolution.
