At any point are we going to be willing to consider that someone who hasn’t coached this century may not have the most accurate view on current roster building? Or am I supposed to pretend that partial qualifiers and unlimited rosters still exist

@ralulla There were 110 NE kids on last NE National Championship team. Over 2/3 of roster. heard coach McBride month or so say on radio say we need NE kids “ We would just travel down 34, grab a kid, few yrs later All Americans” -McBride.

@ralulla Did you coach in this century? I do remember spring game being an event, full, only chance most people could get kids to see Huskers. Now 25k, people just trying to learn new roster. Watch a RB that wouldn’t have made our 5 deep in old days we are probably paying 500k +.

@CornNation @ChrisNelso25625 Sacks played a big role in the total rushing numbers last year. The running backs looked solid in the spring game.

Had a great time at Hurrdat Sports bar and grill tonight watching the game, and talking with @Austin2Jacobsen @ralulla and Rico. This team was literally picked to finish 14th in the Big Ten this past preseason and they won 28 games and made a run to the sweet 16. What a season.

@WannabeHuskGuy @HussBus69 Whats the reason? That I am happy to have been able to take in the best season in Husker basketball history? The loss stings but the fact they won 28 games and won not 1 but 2 tourney games makes this season a success and raises the floor of the program.

A season like this raises your floor as a program for the foreseeable future. Growing investment + HS & portal interest will never be higher. It's an awful finish, BUT this season shows proof of concept that @HuskerMBB can & will be a consistent contender with this staff.
