Transformers went from dead to multi-billion dollar franchise to dead again for two reasons:
1. Hasbro's bizarre discomfort with Michael Bay's films being what relaunched the franchise from the grave.
2. People like this guy demanding it undermine itself for a female audience that just isn't there.
