@mhartington Bitwarden is pretty good. The free tier is nice but I use a subscription so I can have 2 factor OTP’s in the app. It’s also open source and you can host the API yourself if you wanted to.

@juristr I came to this conclusion a while back as well. Sometimes it just takes time to realize certain ideas weren’t as good as we thought. Gotta applaud attempts at innovation though, and I’m sure jsdom still has a place for some people.

So Karma was right from the beginning? 😃 Interesting to see who everyone moved away to simulated DOM for faster speed and now back again. Testing in the browser is def what you want, everything else is just a hack.

Celebrated my 37th birthday on Wednesday! 🥳 Who better with than a bunch of my Ionic friends 💙 I may not be with the company anymore but the relationships we’ve cultivated are rock solid. Internally, we say #Ionic4Life for a reason! Saw Bit Brigade with @perrygovier - they perform rock covers of NES game soundtracks as their gamer speed runs the game live on stage. The ultimate nerdy birthday experience! They played Castlevania and Legend of Zelda. As a bonus their opener played the X-men song 😮

@housecor I’ve been working on a migration like this as well. I’ve tackled it at domain layer and page layer and overall I feel like tackling each domain (type of state) at a time is the way to go.

Problem: I'm working in an app that uses both Redux and React Query. React Query responses are copied into the Redux store. The app is buggy because it has 2 sources of state on every page: Redux and React Query. It reads and writes to these 2 spots inconsistently. Solution: Pick *one* global state management system. Store each piece of data in *one* spot.
