@yabsssai Nothing really changed - it's more that I hit the 3k because of Apple giving my app a boost - which came to an end after like 10 days

@mesutas_dev In the past this upgrade was enough for me. Lately it seems like I'm reaching the limit a lot faster, I might indeed have to consider 20x...

@schlimmson Sorry, put of topic. Don't you think 20x better than 5x? In terms of what I pay and what I receive in return 20x is Kore beneficial, am i wrong?

@betomoedano How do you know for sure the revenue comes from the ad installs? I find attribution very challenging..

@moshhamedani Yeah they are some special people... Not everyone probably, but seeing all comments here, most people share the same opinion.

If you share your app on Reddit, be prepared for the most negative kind of feedback from people who most likely never even checked out the app in the first place.

Curious how others think about this - especially from people who tried different models ✌️

"Pay 2 win." Every player hates these games. Every indie dev fears these comments. And yet here I am, telling you that it’s probably the best way to monetize and actually make money with your app. Here’s why I still use in-app purchases in my game 👇

@martinbean I'm not here to argue, and even if the balance might be more positive, it's still true that it happens every time. BTW: If you are a creator, you will understand that 1 negative comment drags you down more than 10 positive comments.

@schlimmson “Happens all the time” yet I’ve just gone through the last half-dozen posts of yours and the positives far outweigh the negatives?

@martinbean The iosgaming sub is okayish, but they usually call out everyone who is selling something in apps.

"overly sarcastic" because I am tired of comments that have no idea about what's going on, and how much time people put into something. And it's not just this one - it happens all the time. I post on allowed posting/promotion times, no spamming. You will still get hateful comments every time.

@schlimmson Is this the thread? reddit.com/r/incremental_… It’s not like you were pounced on. One person called you out for using AI-generated assets, one gave you valuable feedback, and a third saying it’s a cash grab that you then wrote an overly sarcastic reply to.
