Insane. They rushed it through with mostly Democrat votes. The plan has 222 votes. It needs 270 to actually start working. Once it does, your vote in Virginia doesn’t matter anymore. The Founders made the Electoral College so a few big cities don’t boss the whole country. This is a sneaky Democrat power grab to cheat that. “Every vote counts the same”? Lies. 15 members and associates of Direct Action Minnesota (DAMN) have been charged with various federal crimes, including conspiracy to impede a federal officer, multiple counts of interstate stalking, interstate threats, solicitation to commit a crime of violence, multiple counts of assault on a federal officer, and destruction of government property.
“As alleged, these defendants, which included members of Antifa groups, engaged in an unrelenting campaign of harassment and violence targeting federal and local law enforcement,” said Acting Attorney General @DAGToddBlanche. “Their actions created a dangerous environment that threatened not only their intended targets, but the community as a whole. The same Democrats in Iowa who criticize Republicans for pushing education reform continue to believe that simply spending more money will solve the problem.
Iowa’s education system does not have a funding problem. It has a bureaucracy problem. Taxpayers have invested billions into education, yet too many dollars are tied up in administrative overhead instead of reaching teachers and students.
Real reform means cutting red tape, empowering parents and educators, and making sure every dollar is spent where it has the greatest impact: in the classroom.
