@micah_erfan Mayor Mamdani went after city retirees pension to fund his universal free childcare. He even let undocumented children seats in lieu of American children and legal immigrants children. He got comptroller Levine to take $8 billion to build low income housing which is not enough.

@progressiveact Mayor Mamdani won on voters being offered free food, bus rides, rent freeze and who voted for him knows it’s impossible to deliver. The old saying if it’s too good to be true then it isn’t real. Sorry folks Mamdani can offer bike lanes and bus lanes still got to pay the fare

I don’t have anything personally against Mamdani because I don’t know him on that level— but when he promoted free buses during his campaign trail knowing he couldn’t deliver, thats when I knew he was fraudulent. He also said he wasn’t right the wrong of what Adams did with the fired workers— then I knew he wasn’t for workers.

Pedestrians who were killed recently were by city workers EMS ambulance, MTA bus drivers, Yellow school bus , Sanitation truck and FDNY. None of them been arrested and charged fail to yield.

The MTA is planning to shut the G train down for 40% of weekends this year. It’s unacceptable. @BKBPReynoso and I are demanding the MTA limit closures to overnight hours and speed up the pace of their work. This train is Greenpoint’s lifeline.

The NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani stated NYC is in money problems again and stated the reason why is because the last Mayor ( @ericadamsfornyc ) mismanaged the budget. The @NYCMayor stated he calls on the NYS governor @KathyHochul to bail out the city . If NYC is serious about saving money they should look into all the migrant shelter contracts which now morphed into the housing crisis and start making cuts. The deficit is entirely created by Mamdani himself and his insane budget request of $15 billion dollars over last year, an unheard of increase to fund his ridiculous wish list of giveaways to corrupt nonprofits, illegals, and political activists. If we simply kept our spending to 2024-25 levels — already $107 billion dollars — we’d have no deficit. For context, that is equal to the budget for the ENTIRE state of Florida, and yet the incompetent children in charge of our budget somehow can’t make things work with that massive pile of money. It’s a total lack of leadership and everyone involved with this travesty should be ashamed of themselves.

@Gothamist What about priorities for drivers who have pat tolls and $9 congestion fees. Riding MTA B41 to nowhere always late and intentionally stacked up on purpose to make overtime. Bus drivers see a rider coming into the bus and quickly close the door and leave.

@RidersAlliance What do the riders want faster bus service ? You start with why bus drivers intentionally slow down for every signal light so buses comes in stacked and late. King highway the lanes are so tight turn, buses have to take the car lane to turn East 32st and East 34 st.
