@dibakardutta_ The problem is not only being underage. Boy was 17; in one year he would be legal age to drive car. One year doesnt change mindset drastically. He could have committed same crime if he had been adult. The problem is equally of parents for not setting good example and safe driving

Parents who let their underage children drive 4-wheelers need to be put behind bars. This is the only way we can stop mindless accidents that are claiming lives on Indian roads every day. In this particular case, a 42-year-old businessman named , Srinivas Tandle was riding his cycle on Kaylan Ring Road near Mumbai on Tuesday (24th March). A 17-year-old underage boy rammed his car into the victim, leading to the latter's death. The accused fled the crime scene but was apprehended the next day. The boy did not buy this 4-wheeler. His parents bought it. They allowed him to go on a joy ride. And the result is deadly! There is a reason why minors do not have voting rights or are not allowed to drive vehicles. It is because they lack the decision-making skills needed for their age. But irresponsible parents regularly endanger the lives of others by handing bike/ car keys to their underage children. Such parents need exemplary punishment. #accident #rashdriving

Always hold the hands of children on the road !! You need to be extremely defensive and alert to avoid this from a driver's view point!

@DriveSmart_IN This is hardly a fault of pedestrian because he was walking on border of road instead of other cases seen where people walk on road. Entirely fault of biker who nonchalantly saw the left opening and overtake in narrow space. If there had been more footage, it would be clearer.

Pune : No safe pedestrian infrastructure,so pedestrians walking on the road. The biker saw the pedestrian,then brakes while next to a heavy vehicle,loses balance and truck runs over. It's so heartbreaking to hear but this is a standard pattern.

Dear @anandmahindra, Sir, what have you put inside Thar that the moment someone buys one, they start acting like a boss on the road? - They break traffic signals. - They drive very fast. - They do risky stunts. - They cause accidents. - They drive like rules do not matter. - They honk again and again. @Aadhan0 @3rdEyeDude Good observation. I often see this happening on road. Instead of slowing down, people swerve. They do not think of possibility of tailing vehicle unable to judge the situation after their swerving.

@3rdEyeDude Ppl are working in the median. 1. Its the fault of the truck to have sped up in the last moment to swerve & tackle the median rather than to slow down & change lane and 2. the dashcam car to follow so closely These barricades are not your regular traffic ones. Differentiate.

@TimesNow Watch this screenshot carefully. At this point the biker wouldn't even have known the Scorpio approaching as it's in the wrong lane, hidden by the bus. Scorpio forces bus to brake hard, causing the biker to veer outside. Scorpio emerges from wrong lane and takes out the biker.
