@niranjan_p One of the golden rules of fiction, drilled into me by mentors—and for good reason! Showing what a character goes through is far more impactful than just telling. When done well, it feels like a gut punch to the reader too. :D

Asked AI to translate Buddha's Four Noble Truths as if Steve Jobs was doing it: 1. "Life has bugs" 2. "The bug is wanting the wrong things" 3. "You can debug this" 4. "Here's the patch" Buddha was basically a UX designer for consciousness 🧘‍♂️💻 achamian.in/buddha-was-ux-…

My first time in Scotland. The countryside is magnificent. Edinburgh is magical. It's like time stopped here somewhere in the previous century. Loving every second here except it is COLD. My god it is cold. No matter what anyone says, 13 degrees is NOT SUMMER. 🧊😅

🚨ATTN: QUERYING AUTHORS🚨 Querying is hard. No, seriously, it’s HELL. It’s the WORST thing you’ll EVER have to do as an author. Even if you leave your agent and have to query again, the second time is immensely easier. Anyone who says otherwise is lying to you. 🌝

@awkwarishma I love how he thinks. What would have made him an even more exemplary father was if he was more present for his kids. His wife is doing all the raising, and she is mostly doing it alone. By taking a bigger role in their care, he would have set an even better example.

There's this famous tweet that says something like "We have raised empowered women, but we haven't raised men who know how to accept these women." Why #Dahaad's SHO Devi Singh is exemplary in this case: A thread:

Okay, genuine question. If you’re a fully grown adult - I’m talking 30s/40s/50s plus - do you still have a best friend? And are they someone you’ve been friends with since you were kids or someone you’ve met more recently?

There's no way I can do this all in a single Twitter thread, but I at least want to cover the basics as to how a writer goes about structuring a novel. Whether we're talking about outlining, writing, or revising, the following are some ways to build out your manuscript. 🧵 1/?
