@niranjan_p One of the golden rules of fiction, drilled into me by mentors—and for good reason! Showing what a character goes through is far more impactful than just telling. When done well, it feels like a gut punch to the reader too. :D

🚨ATTN: QUERYING AUTHORS🚨 Querying is hard. No, seriously, it’s HELL. It’s the WORST thing you’ll EVER have to do as an author. Even if you leave your agent and have to query again, the second time is immensely easier. Anyone who says otherwise is lying to you. 🌝

@awkwarishma I love how he thinks. What would have made him an even more exemplary father was if he was more present for his kids. His wife is doing all the raising, and she is mostly doing it alone. By taking a bigger role in their care, he would have set an even better example.
