First, I wanted to thank you for bringing the SAVE America Act to the Senate floor for debate. Second, please continue debate on the bill & do NOT invoke cloture on the SAVE America Act unless we have 60 votes. Third, please consider continuing to work through the weekend &/or not recessing from March 30 - April 10. If you made that decision & focused on reopening the Department of Homeland Security, you & your Republican caucus would be heroes to millions of Americans, as well as the unpaid TSA agents. Furthermore, please know that we can be your greatest allies. We can be your bullhorn. We can be your peaceful ammunition. We can give you the support of millions of voices that desperately want election security. It’s safe to say Americans are taking their IDs out regularly and having a pretty easy go of it. Yet when it comes to voting, Democrats talk like requiring a photo ID is some insurmountable burden. If that were true, why would Democrats be requiring a photo ID for their voters to get into their campaign events?

I guarantee that this democrat is on the way to vote early in the unconstitutional gerrymandering referendum. Virginia, get out & vote NO today if you want any shot at saving the Commonwealth. I’m returning to VA at the end of the month. See you soon, VA Beach!

The  SAVE America Act simply says you need to be a citizen of America to register to vote. You need to show ID to vote. That is in no way controversial. Unless of course you are a Senate Democrat.

This is day 1 of asking @LeaderJohnThune to pass the SAVE Act. Whereas proof of citizenship is not required to register to vote; Whereas Texas found thousands of illegal aliens on its voter rolls; Whereas states like CA, OR, & WA, give Driver’s Licenses to illegal aliens; Whereas Minnesota allows for 1 registered voter to vouch for 8 other persons without an ID; Whereas the American people demand fair elections; Whereas restoring confidence in our elections would inspire more Americans to vote; Whereas federal elections begin in Wisconsin February 2026; Now, therefore, be it resolved that Senate Majority Leader Thune should swiftly bring forth a vote on the SAVE Act and utilize every means to pass the bill with a simple majority vote.

Any democrat Senators flying home for the March 30 - April 10 recess should have to wait in the long airport lines they created by shutting down the Department of Homeland Security. Imagine democrat Senators gleefully taking a paid vacation, while TSA agents can’t pay rent.

Republicans are working hard to get the SAVE America Act to the President’s desk. It is just common sense to ensure only American citizens can vote and use a  a photo ID when they do. Even 70% of Democrats across the country agree. But Senate Democrats are trying to block it.
