It’s disgraceful that Ben Roberts Smith a decorated war hero has been pursued under allegations of war crimes for the past 5 years.
No other country in the world sends their soldiers overseas to fight for their country against terrorist extremist then repays them with a 5 year witch hunt spending hundreds of millions of dollars trying to build a case flying people overseas in an attempt to prosecute their own war heroes.
Only a small handful of people would understand what it’s like fighting the Taliban and having them trying to kill you.
Now he will most likely be judged by people who have no idea about the army or what it’s like to go to war.
Our gutless politicians need to be held to account.
Our war heroes deserve better.

I just got off the phone with someone who works in defense policy in Washington. What they told me should end every "Trump is reckless" argument permanently.
