@_noticer_1 @MickamiousG SORRY: At first, I thought you were stupid or lazy but on review of your profile & posts I see you have more serious issues. You need to overcome your delusions. It may help if you started thinking critically. Meanwhile you are muted. I hope this helps. #1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">psychcentral.com/news/2018/09/2…

The Family of Fallen Private Robert Poate have spoken out in the Ben Roberts-Smith case. They’ve questioned why the team of investigators have spent 6 years+ building and Millions of dollars investigating Ben Roberts-Smith and others whilst their sons killer Afghan Hekmatullah now walks free after the Taliban freed him.

My thoughts on the BRS arrest. 1. There should be different standards that account for the brutal reality of war, but there are still lines that can’t be crossed. 2. Executing unarmed prisoners is over the line for me. Even if they are the enemy. 3. The fact that it’s difficult to prove to criminal standards doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be attempted if there’s strong reason to believe it’s true. In fact, it’s important to try, otherwise we resign ourselves to being powerless to enforce the lines that are drawn. More extensive thoughts in my video. I agree with some of the sentiments voiced by those dismayed at the arrest, but just don’t reach all the same conclusions. Overall I’m greatly saddened by the whole affair. It’s particularly disappointing that it’s been so slow. I do take great pride in the military and the SAS because overwhelmingly they’re brilliant and professional fighters. And we send them to do violent and dangerous work. But I can’t join in the cries of outrage. The fact that we take great pride in, and place great trust in our elite fighters necessitates contemplating the possibility that on occasion that trust is broken. It’s sad, but must be contemplated as being possible, so that those exceptions can be addressed, and the trust and pride remain. It’s a tragedy that a hero might be so deeply flawed. But that tragedy might be real.

@jimball1000 Police shouldnt be given medals like a kids given lollypops! They should get them for showing exceptional bravery, think pulling someone out from a burning car. Or that chick who shot that Sydney westfield man on a stabbing spree. Medals shouldnt be for just doing your job!

Random Note — Imposter Syndrome Sorry, not sorry but this garish display is cringy and embarrassing bullshit. Be interesting to contrast and compare the war stories. Check them out…Barrett’s medals are participation medals. They look impressive but are pretty much just for showing up. For being there. Or maybe she chipped a nail. Medals for time served in the job. Whoopty doo…Why not a gold watch as well for 25 years. Like every child gets a prize. The net effect is to diminish the value of the medals of those (BRS or anyone else) who has actually been in the trenches and in the line of fire and earned recognition. Barrett’s are attendance medals and should be kept in a bedside drawer. Trying to elevate Barrett’s over the top, array and display to be something equivalent to or approximating that of veterans who have been on the frontline is 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐫.

@sethharpesq You actually have lost some money because 22,000 dollars in 2017 buys a lot more than 22,000 in 2026

Absolutely insane that my truck hasn’t lost ONE DOLLAR in value after NINE YEARS and 90,000 more miles on the odometer. A testament to how crappy new American cars are. People will pay MORE for an older vehicle to OPT OUT of all the janky bells and whistles new ones come with.

TRIGGER WARNING In 1943 Japanese officer Chikao beheaded Australian POW Leonard Siffleet. Australia demanded justice for this war crime. BRS is charged with killing a handcuffed Afghan POW. Would those who argue BRS should not be tried have said, 'I stand with Yasuno Chikao'?

@_noticer_1 @Peter_Fox59 On the contrary, the entire war crimes trial process following the Second World War was premised on the principle that the same laws of war applied to all sides. See the opening speech at the Nuremberg Tribunal.

What's truly embarrassing are the people who support Ben Roberts-Smith as if his actions were in fact those of a distinguished war hero Imputation 1: murdered an unarmed defenceless Afghan civilian by kicking him off a cliff Imp 4: Committed murder by pressuring a newly deployed inexperienced soldier to execute an elderly unarmed man in order to "blood the rookie". Imp 5: Commit murder by machine-gunning a man with a proesthetic leg, then celebrating his trophy kill by drinking out of his prosthetic leg He's now being charged for additional murders. Yeah, this sounds like an upstanding Aussie soldier. He's a piece of shit that needs to rot for life behind bars along side his tarnished Victoria cross medal. Maybe look up "defenceless" and "civilian" in his last trial before making shit up about how heroic he was for murdering these people: smh.com.au/interactive/hu…
Demoniaco@DemoniacoASX

This bloodthirsty piece of shit needs to be held to account for executing civilians. A complete stain on the Australian special forces.

One must wonder if the @AusFedPolice hadn't spent the last 10 years going after BRS they might have not let Sajid and Naveed Akram, the Bondi terrorists, slip through the cracks and 15 Australians might still be alive Krissy Barrett you must resign now

@Blaze99451John @RonniSalt Yes but they wont be. No serious country does this to their soldiers for anything other than insubordination. You think Russia or Ukraine will prosecute drone operators blowing up soldiers who have downed their weapons? We are not a serious country just a wealth extraction zone

@stackygc @RonniSalt Obviously its terrible what happens during war. But prosecuting our own "war heros" over things that supposedly happened 20 years ago is stupidity! 0 net benefit to Australia. Just makes us look stupid, untrustworthy and vindictive.

@_noticer_1 @DavidShoebridge You are aware that AFP runs more than one investigation at a time? It’s not one group of people spending all their time on one crime. Also finding out our military covered up war crimes definitely is a benefit to Australia.

@_noticer_1 @V_Cotis @DavidShoebridge So just to clarify, your view is that it’s ok to murder if it’s possible that in the future that person might try to murder someone else?
