Huge congratulations to one of the unsung heroes of Australian politics - @deniseshrivell Denise was awarded the Difficult Woman hard-hat prize last night at Micheal West Media's 10th anniversary celebrations Congrats also to Cathy Wilcox and Grace Tame, who made up the trifecta of Difficult Woman prize winners Denise does so much work behind the scenes, more than people will ever know, and she deserves all the accolades. Looks like such a great night too xx

Australians need to know this This man is a US citizen currently working in Australia He is speaking here at our RC on behalf of a quasi astro-turfing group - Australian Academic Alliance Against Antisemitism - the same shadowy group that derailed the Bendigo Writers' Festival last year and targeted an Australian citizen, Dr Abdel-Fattah The AAAAA's actions resulted in a mass boycott of the Bendigo festival resulting in millions of dollars in lost tourism, damaged reputations and complete acrimony Once again - this man is a US citizen defending the actions and interests of a foreign government, Israel, in bombing and killing children, while, as a guest in our country, he interferes in Australia's social and cultural life and attempts to dictate how our universities are run .

@disperth @TabularasaMMXIX I doubt it. We've had US citizens giving testimony on behalf of Meta and other assorted social media and media outlets, so I doubt the RC thinks there's anything wrong with a US citizen from a web-based astro-turfing group giving his testimony to anyone who'll listen

@RonniSalt As an academic I can say the academic culture of trying to find the logic and meaning in speech and argument can sometimes just save cretins like Keller from the very obvious “you’re speaking in circles due to moral vacuity, mate”.

@DarrinADurant A very hard agree. While writing this, I had to watch his "racist hyphens" speech about three times over just to try to decipher it properly, and even then I'm not sure I was successful

@RonniSalt Not sure Albo is bullied. Imo he is driven by self interest. I don’t think shock jocks bullied him in to saying Grace is “difficult” or he wants to “fxxk Kylie”,he’s a try hard appealing to a certain crowd. Equally, the RC is to appease Jewish lobbies who fill the Labor coffers.
