Here's my take. Trump trying to use the Falklands as leverage against Britain is not a smart move. I have huge respect for America and many good friends across the pond, and I would still vote for Trump RIGHT NOW. But this kind of pressure will only damage the Special Relationship even further, and we all know Starmer has already done enough damage on his own. The lefties in Britain already hate America and Trump - this won’t change that. The real danger is that patriotic Brits will start turning against you too. This needs to be thought out properly, by all sides. The British people will not tolerate this.

Argentina 🇦🇷 wants negotiations over the Falklands, but if they ever tried to take them by force, should the UK 🇬🇧 defend the islands or let them go? My view: Britain should defend them with every military asset it has. The islanders have already chosen to remain British.
