Correct @mysteriouskat Almost no one talks to or reads the works of people who say they're not convinced aliens are here. Avi Loeb, e.g., has camera crews in his Harvard office daily because he says it's possible 3I/Atlas is alien tech. Almost no one interviews the thousands of unconvinced astronomers who say it's a comet.

The reason @DouthatNYT that the answer UFOlogists give you of “I can’t tell you” is because there is no alien tech. There’s a reason @dwpasulka is a scholar of religious studies. UFOlogy is a religion. There will NEVER be empirical evidence.

i actually only spend $5k a year on clothes, but $20k a year on peanuts. i started feeding about 5 crows during the pandemic, but they've since reproduced to about 10k crows and i feel responsible for all of them
