it is also not the job of indigenous people to educate you on this. being an ally goes beyond and includes actively taking responsibility, learning from the past and understanding how it impacts our present.

refusal to acknowledge the feelings of indigenous people in your fandom who are upset by your behaviour and treatment of them is a real testament to your character and i do not mean that in a positive way.
