@toddmstephenson @Coltheman1 How much tax will be made on the money spent in relation to this event?
English

Why are taxpayers subsidising an event featuring billionaire owned football clubs?
Tottenham and Auckland FC aren’t charities. They’re backed by owners worth billions. Good luck to them, but they don’t need help from Kiwi taxpayers.
This funding is coming from the Government’s $70 million Major Events and Tourism Package. In practice it’s just a slush fund, politicians picking winners and spraying public money around in the hope of a headline.
And it raises an obvious question. When Wellington Phoenix hosted teams like Wrexham, West Ham, Boca Juniors, or LA Galaxy, they didn’t need a government hand out to get those matches off the ground. So why do two clubs owned by billionaires suddenly need taxpayer support now?
At a time when households are making sacrifices in their own budgets, Wellington should do the same. This is about priorities.
ACT’s position is straightforward, government shouldn’t be in the business of subsidising private entertainment for commercial gain. If an event stacks up, it should stand on its own two feet.

@CoachRobPorter @SundayShare10 @BreakthruSoccer @Tactx_ @CraigRudders @JB_SoccerCoach @coach_kevin_m @KevWeir1 I miss the old school 442. Generally I default to a 4231 (with 2 cms not dms)

I believe that you base your formation on your group, but you have a favourite formation, mines 4-3-3.
But, I'm starting to move over to the dark side of 3-5-2! You need the players to play WB, if you do, it's a game changer.
#SundayShare community, what's your go to formation?

@allie__voss Come to regional New Zealand airports , there is literally no security at all.
English

As someone who never experienced airports before 9/11...was there truly NO security? Like you could just walk wherever like a train station?
Sean T at RCP@SeanTrende
Dropped my son off for an unaccompanied minor flight and they give you a gate pass so parents can take them to the gate. You have to sit and wait until the plane takes off. Nostalgic, because this is how it always was for flights until 9/11. You always sat and saw family off.
