Adjusted the spaces and numbers with the U8s, the main thing was the patience and guidance to help them understand, once they did, they were flying with it🔥

@CoachingAt delivered this practice recently, and a few days later, I watched Oxford United's first team run a variation! My U19s loved it, then I used it with U8s on Wednesday, and, with some patience it worked well with them. Great outcomes on playing forward & forward runs.

That's my season with the U19s finished💛💙 I feel like I've become a better coach when working with U19 players, especially form a psych-social perspective. I've also learnt a lot of lessons on leading a college programme, which I'm looking forward to implementing next season.

Well said…I’m guessing a lack of resources means that this makes it tough for any organisation to provide this (although I’m delivering a day and half session on a Pro Licence in a European country this year). I think we in psychology need to do a better job of simplifying (where we can). For example: psychology is broad and deep…but, for me, it can simplified into: -performance psychology -well-being -mental health At grassroots…as a broad brush statement…coaches shouldn’t have to worry too much about well-being and mental health (safeguarding yes). But all coaches at grassroots should be afforded the opportunity to be educated on performance psychology (engagement; development; performance)
