Texas Khatre Mei Hai Texans have been saying that their state is starting to look unrecognizable. From streets named “Ali Akbar”, to residents stating that Texas is now “mini-India”, North Texas is seeing a major shift. Sadly, many Indians who moved there don’t feel they should assimilate into Texas culture. Instead, they’ve started changing Texas — making it more like a mini India. Texas gave opportunity. Texas welcomed talent. But when their guests start redecorating the whole town without asking… something’s certainly wrong. Indians allege and agitate for similar issues in India but look at whats happening in Texas. Is this fair on the host country and town? We haven’t even begun to talk about how the blogger was being treated while she was covering the Holi festivities. Texas is also seeing a huge Muslim community growing and establishing themselves in a big way with proposals and plans to build an entire city infrastructure called the “Epic City” on about 400 acres land on their farmlands in their small towns. Texans aren’t really too comfortable about this sort of an invasion in their neighbourhood as they feel Texas doesn’t look the same anymore.
