I keep encountering fully grown Nigerian adults who find it difficult to lead.
Quite glaring in the current crop of the 20s & 30s, people with actual families of their own.
They do not pick up the reins of a project and prefer instead to await direction.
Our issues are plenty.

As someone who enjoyed its debut season, my honest opinion is: - we didn’t need S2 of “Your Friends and Neighbours”. Feels redundant, the story arc was perfectly tied up in S1. Now and having said that, hallo James Mardsen!😍 The man deserves to remain employed, so have at it.

Something Nigerians do that baffles me is shame people for which specific model of phone they’re using. e.g. shaming iPhone users for not using an iPhone 17 as opposed to say an iPhone 11. After the iPhone 12, there really hasn’t been any sensible reason to upgrade your iPhone.

Was in my 9th year of the iPhone 4, determined to go the distance when an exuberant dog on a Bahamian beach dunked the phone in the sea.
Very annoying incident otherwise, upgrade for what?

Also have aunts who married much older husbands and are now outliving them by decades.
I think women who choose inter-gen options should plan for that possibility and make sure a community is there for them afterwards.

Was having a convo with a friend about her Uni roommate, who married an older man immediately after graduating.
Never thought about his being over 40 at the time (we just knew he was older).
She’s now 51 and he just turned 70.
That’s the real maths in inter-gen relationships.
