The UK’s exit from the EU single market has been an economic disaster.
Most estimates now show:
1. UK GDP is around 4–6% lower than it otherwise would have been
2. Business investment fell roughly 10–15% below trend
3. Trade volumes and manufacturing competitiveness weakened sharply
He was one of the main architects of this project.
The damage to British industry, growth and long-term competitiveness is a direct consequence of that political choice

💰 “Follow the money” is exactly right.
Reform UK presents as grassroots movement, but actually it is an elite-funded politics dressed up as populism.
And while the noise focuses on migrants or culture wars, the real consequences land elsewhere:
👉 weaker food standards
👉 more imports
👉 less support for domestic production

Two things caused the mess this country is in:
1. Brexit
2. The Tories
So why vote Reform when:
1. Reform want an even harder Brexit
2 Reform is full of ex-Tories
That is why I will #NeverVoteReform

Gary Neville (@GNev2) employed more than 500 people across all his business ventures.
He shouldn’t be taking any crap from anyone in Manchester, he should be celebrated for both his football career and his business empire.
He certainly shouldn’t be getting abuse when he’s holding hands with his Mrs.
Just leave famous people alone, is a reaction or a selfie really worth it? Is anybody impressed? Does anyone care you asked another human being for a picture when they don’t even know you?
As for Donna finding this funny, how did Gary’s Wife feel? I bet she was terrified for a moment…Congratulations you’re a dick!

Since the Brexit referendum 10 years ago, we’ve had six Prime Ministers (including Cameron). The sixth, Starmer, is wobbling. It’s been a decade of immense instability, and the idea that the chief architect of Brexit, Nigel Farage, would improve things is one of the most audacious claims in British politics.

@DonnaLouise1212 What a waste of oxygen you are.. another uneducated Reform shill with no critical thinking skills labelling themselves a free speech warrior because they failed at mainstream education. You'll believe GB News isn't an entertainment show next..

Let's guess. Trumps US. Orbans Hungary. Purins Russia. Lukashenko's Belarus. All the right wing dictators wanting the end of unified Europe.

You don't get coverage like this on Russian TV without Kremlin approval. The Kremlin knew Farage would be a useful tool, and I am sure he has more than exceeded their hopes.
The right-wing media will be waiting to trumpet a Farage triumph in the local elections. Let's follow the Hungarians and shatter their hopes with our votes.

This 2011 tweet by Farage thanking Orban for helping 'us' undermine the EU hasn't aged well.
It shows that for over 15 years Farage has been colluding with Orban and Russia to weaken the EU.
(I deleted my earlier version of this post because I saw Reform UK in Farage's profile in the screenshot. But X shows the current account name, not the original)

Reform UK’s war on tax dodging and fraud is led by people who are experts at tax dodging and fraud.
Let’s meet the team.
Nigel Farage - Leader. Caught hiding £384,000 in earnings from the parliamentary register. Breached MPs’ code of conduct 17 times.
Richard Tice - Deputy Leader. Avoided £600,000 in corporation tax through offshore structures. His company then allegedly failed to withhold £120,000 in tax legally owed to HMRC. Under investigation. Reform’s own manifesto pledged to “Stop the Offshore Taxpayer Rip Off.”
Nadhim Zahawi - Senior figure. Paid nearly £5 million to HMRC to settle a tax dispute including penalties for “careless” errors. Also claimed £5,822 to heat his stables on parliamentary expenses.
George Cottrell - Farage’s right-hand man. Convicted of wire fraud in the US. Under HMRC investigation for his tax affairs.
The party itself - Forced to return £193,000 in illegal donations. More unlawful donations than every other major party combined. Eleven came from people in Monaco, Jersey and Germany.
“No one pays more tax than they have to.”
- Nigel Farage, defending his deputy

🚨 If Tottenham Hotspur get relegated, here’s what it would actually happen to the team:
First, nothing happens instantly to contracts. Every player remains tied to the club. Relegation doesn’t cancel deals, they are still legally Spurs players.
However, the big change comes from money and ambition.
Spurs would lose a huge amount of revenue, especially from Premier League TV rights. Because of that, the club would need to reduce spending quickly. This is where player exits begin.
Top players would almost certainly leave. Not because they are forced to, but because:
• They want to keep playing at the highest level
• Other big clubs would come in for them
• Spurs would be open to selling to balance finances
Some players may also have relegation clauses in their contracts. These clauses can:
• Allow them to leave for a lower transfer fee
• Reduce their wages automatically
So even those who stay might earn less.
The squad would then start to change a lot. Spurs would rely more on:
• Younger players
• Squad players who stay
• Loan signings
And this is where it gets even tougher, coming back up is not guaranteed.
Because many of their best players would leave, the overall quality of the squad drops. Even though Spurs are a big club, the Championship is very competitive and physical, and without top talent, promotion becomes much harder.
In short — relegation doesn’t “remove” players, but it triggers a chain reaction:
➡️ Stars leave
➡️ Wages drop
➡️ Squad gets rebuilt
➡️ Promotion becomes more difficult
That’s why relegation is such a big risk, even for top clubs.
