@DanielleTrotta You should talk to @NASCAR @rfk about them getting a gen 4 or 5 of biffs and having cleetus drive it to run a pace lap at the Daytona 500 with the field 3 wide in procession Behind . Would be amazing I will drop this comment everywhere to try and get this to happen .

@Brian_Twining @jeff_gluck He had a top 15 car at best , wasn't present in either stage . So they went with the we have nothing to lose strategy. And we know clean air can take a 15th place car and make it a 1st place car and vice versa . It feels like a typical Elliott win .

Fans are surely going to vote yes on @jeff_gluck poll, but that race wound up being a total 💩 show. There is no world, other than one called LUCK, that the 9 or any of the HMS cars should have own. Casuals are gonna love it, race fans should hate it. #CookOut400 #NASCAR

@chriswerme15 @furlongeric__ I'm asking what the logic behind it was. I made the top 5 because he has proven to be a top 5 car but not a winner . Nothing is making me sound worse, I did very well this weekend starting with a Denny pole at +800 , great OAP race , and decent cup race.

@4RealJDK @furlongeric__ Sigh. This is making you sound worse. Just stop chirping people that win because you didn’t make the same bets. Chase wasn’t great all race but he was good enough to hold off Hamlin in the end. That’s NASCAR sometimes.

@chriswerme15 @furlongeric__ Don't think he was 2nd best in practice, he was 4th in 15& 20 lap averages 5th in 25 & 30. He's 1 for 21 at martinville. There was just nothing to me that screamed win , and his performance all day backed that up .

He was the 2nd best car in practice and arguably the best. He was also the 2nd best car in this race last year. 1 for 58 in short tracks means ZERO. Martinsville is a stand alone track. There were probably 5-7 cars that if they got out front they would be hard to pass. Elliott was one of those drivers.

@daletanhardt That was one of the most "Elliott" wins of all time . Top 20 car at best all day, slides ass backwards into track position and clean air. He was 1 for 58 on short tracks in his career . Betting his outright was a stretch , top 5 was good but even that wasn't going to hit .

Take hockey , no offensive player beside Gretzky, no other defensemen should be in there because bourque and orr, no other goalie should be in there beside Roy .

Ooh I see… Let me clear that up. Comparing NASCAR champions to AA players you’ve never heard of is out of touch yes. The comparison to stick and ball isn’t the issue. It disrespecting some of the sport’s greats is my problem.

Let me ask you this, then.. if Denny Hamlin races in NASCAR for 20+ years in Cup but has NO championships, does he deserve to be in the HOF alongside guys like Johnson, Petty, Gordon, etc? If we are using those guys as the example, “should” a Cup guy with none get in?

I think calling people like Randy LaJoie, Ron Hornaday, Jason Keller, Jack Sprague, Scott Riggs, and Jeff Green… AA or AAA guys is wildly out of touch… Those guys never got to drive for top teams at the Cup level, but dominated everything before it.

@The_SethHarwell @DanielKriete4 So when Reddick won 3 races what was the problem that season? Or Busch the season after with 3 wins? I think in NextGen RCR was slightly ahead of the curved because of their involvement with development. Other teams caught up and RCR didn't adapt. It's a KB issue now .

@4RealJDK @DanielKriete4 Not a RCR issue?? Dude really? RCR has been trash for about 15 years now consistently. In 2022 and 2023 the field didn’t have an edge due to the new car. The top teams have passed them by alot now and it’s not close
