Canadians are cutting groceries, delaying bills, and paying more for nearly everything. Carney is flying from airport to airport for speeches, handshakes, and photo ops. You sacrifice. He travels. The Liberals call that leadership.

I’m going to be very blunt here. If the Conservative establishment thinks it can quietly knife Pierre Poilievre swap in Jason Kenney, Doug Ford or some other approved “safe pair of hands,” and expect the base to smile and fall in line, they are badly misreading the room. This is not 2019. The old kingmaker class no longer controls the entire conversation. They can’t drop a few strategic hit pieces, whisper into the right media ears, manufacture a leadership crisis and assume everyone will obediently move on. People are watching now. They see the pattern. They see the same crowd that should be helping Pierre defeat the Liberals spending more energy undermining him, softening the ground and floating replacements. And then, when they’re called out, they suddenly start preaching about unity and “building the tent.” No. You don’t get to put the knife in Pierre’s back and then lecture the rest of us about party unity. If Pierre is pushed out and replaced by Jason Kenney, the CPC will die a slow and painful political death. The conservative base will not simply transfer its loyalty to whoever the establishment installs next. A huge part of that base will feel betrayed. Some will walk away. Some will become politically homeless. Some will turn their anger inward and spend the next several years attacking the very party that took them for granted. And yes, China would be thrilled. Beijing does not want Pierre Poilievre leading this country. That alone should make every Conservative stop and ask why so many people inside our own movement seem so eager to do Beijing’s work for them. The establishment needs to understand something very clearly... Pierre is not Andrew Scheer. The base is not asleep. And the media no longer has a monopoly on shaping the story. So consider this a warning shot. Back Pierre. Help him win. Or keep playing games and find out just how little remains of the Conservative coalition once the people holding it together decide they’ve had enough. Because if you think replacing Pierre will calm the party down, you have absolutely no idea what is coming
