@SteelyDannnnnn I kinda get that, but trust me it tends to look really bad for these Expressive Backgrounds! Some do have them if it looks good though.

@TheStrikers63 All background will run at full speed on hardware, see the Reddit post :) Kyurem doesn't move because I made this custom sprite for him (using the existing sprite) and I haven't animated it!

@AphexCubed is this one of the backgrounds that might run slower on original hardware because it's not a single battle ?

@AphexCubed Im very interested in this, and I have quite questions. Gotta list them here: I guess this is not compatible w RPG Maker Essentials? Is just a hackroom thing, Im right? Would be possible to port this into other software that is not romhacking? Im more into fangaming +

@thebbdisciple It's possible on a technical level to implement this, but for balance reasons we're going to keep the Gen V implementation. Some mons are balanced around not having access to later moves!

@AphexCubed pokemon fans putting in work more than the company itself lmao 🤣 I have a question though, is there a chance you guys could make the move reminder work like it did in gen 7 where you could teach a pokemon a move it's supposed to get later? (like spore with shroomish)

@AphexCubed That’s super cool. I bet it’s hard to get it like that thought I feel like if the DS actually had those backgrounds in the original game the console would’ve blown up. 😂

@AphexCubed So these are gonna be in the next big update to BW2 redux? I'm hugely (and very patiently) looking forward to that, I LOVE everything that's been done with the project overall and I'm excited to see how all the extra work that's going into it eventually turns out 😁💜

@GamingandStuff2 @PedroGuapoi @Lewchube Pretty much everything which can be done on BW2 can be done on BW1 now, someone just has to sit down and do it!

@AphexCubed Well my question is can expressive backgrounds be used on vanilla versions of the games? Like, if i don't want redux or cascade but want expressive backgrounds ao the games and content (like traded mons) be sent to bank.

@LeSkarmory Probably not (at least, not from me!) as I have no skills making sprites

@AphexCubed could back sprites of the pokestar studios "pokemon" props be a thing for a future thing to do? I know they are not legitemately obtainable and doing so will only show a square from the back sprite, so just curious.

@Mstev212 I've never tried that emulator, but in theory it should work!

@AphexCubed Wit! All the changes you’re making, do you think you could this would still be able to run on the Delta emulator for IOS? This is mainly how I’ve been playing. Volt white and Storm silver.
