Family has more meaning this Shabbos. We just lost my father in law after a brief fight against cancer. Larry was an amazing man with an intellectual curiosity that lives on through his kids and grandkids. He also loved a good bread. I’ll miss him more than he’d ever know.

Almost always, dominated plans exist due to HR rules of thumb about premium adjustments and subsidy adjustments.

PSA to @UChicago faculty re open enrollment Increase your comp by $1K or more using this simple trick. Really. Most commonly chosen plan has --low deductible --high premium It is dominated! Alternative has --high deductible --low enough premium to more than offset
