@jongaunt @Morrisons I like the self scanners so I can pack on my way round the store. Especially the cold & frozen food. I find it’s too much of a rush at the checkout so I can’t pack properly if I go to a cashier. It’s nice if there is an option to do what the customer prefers.

Self checkouts need to be scrapped. Nobody wants them and they’re impersonal and not much quicker. Good to see @Morrisons realising this. I’ve never met anyone who prefers them and I’ve worked in supermarket. What’s your view?
