Something most people missed about HIP4: It's the first HIP that actually uses HyperEVM. HIP-1 (tokens), HIP-2 (liquidity), HIP-3 (permissionless markets) — all pure HyperCore L1. HIP4 puts contest logic on EVM smart contracts. Creation, deposits, claims, settlements — all on-chain EVM events. Trading still runs on the HyperCore order book as #-prefixed markets. Why it matters: EVM composability is now plugged into the core protocol. Any contract can read, interact with, build on top of prediction markets. Hyperliquid just made HyperEVM functional, not optional. I'm digging deeper into the mechanics and will share a full breakdown soon.
