Both Chavarria and Carreras are good left-backs, but they offer different things. Carreras is the more exciting talent. Quicker, more aggressive on the ball, drives forward more, and can beat players in one-on-one situations. In a team that wants to dominate possession and attack high up the pitch, he gives you more creativity and attacking threat. The problem is that he can sometimes leave space behind him, and his decision-making without the ball still has room to improve. Chavarría on the other hand is calmer, more disciplined, and stronger defensively(as I saw in replays and comps). He reads danger well, stays in position, wins his duels, and keeps the game simple in possession. He won't produce flashy moments every week, but he gives his team balance and reliability. Looking at Alonso's football, his wing-backs must attack when needed, but they also have to be tactically disciplined, press hard, recover quickly, and know when to stay deep instead of always surging forward. Because of that, I think Pep Chavarría is the better fit for Chelsea right now. Not because he is the better player overall, but because his strengths match what Alonso usually asks from that role. He brings defensive stability, tactical discipline, and experience, while allowing Chelsea's more creative players to take risks further forward. Carreras probably has the higher ceiling and could become the better player in the future. But if the goal is to build a balanced team that suits Xabi Alonso's system from day one, Chavarría would be my choice.

I don't think any of Yamal or Estevao is actually complete as a winger 100%. Yamal is more of a flairy dribbler and creator, he can manipulate his way amongst a cluster of defenders and he does it at an elite level too, he has a good eyes for goal when he gets the chance, but that's not actually his main strength. He is also less athletic compared to Estevao. On the other hand, Estevao is more of the winger that has more eyes for goal, he can manipulate his way through defenders but that's not his main strength, he is the type that wants to find a way to score and also has more athleticism but lesser flair than Yamal. Both are very good wingers but different profiles. Estevao is more of a Salah/Raphinha type of winger while Yamal is a Messi/Neymar type of winger. Going by the above analysis it means Estevao can survive as a LW,but Yamal can't. If you have both in thesame team, you'll either play one as a backup or as a LW.

DEEP REASONING 🔷 : Chelsea's star boy and Barcelona Lamine Yamal are both known for their close control dribbling and agility on the ball to beat defenders. The BIG question is, Who is more all round complete as a winger ?

🚨 BREAKING: Multiple Premier League clubs want Eduardo Camavinga. Despite their interest, the player currently wants to STAY. However, if Real Madrid tell him to leave, we will see what happens. It will also depend on the feeling with JOSE MOURINHO. @FabrizioRomano
