Adobe has always been such an anomaly to me. Everyone hates their guts & yet everyone uses what they make cause there doesn't seem to be any alternative that has close to the same features and options. It's kinda like YouTube in how we all hate the site but there's no true rival.

@BoldLineDesign We had another look at the feature you are referring to - we believe this tool will require paths and control points to be recorded as the line is drawn. These vector properties are not on our active development plan at this stage, but your feedback is noted for future reference

@Procreate Would you consider adding the "vector" attributes to the raster lines the way Clip Studio allows? It would be helpful to be able to delete away the overlap of intersecting lines for example.

@Procreate I don't think you understand what I was asking for. It's NOT vector, but it has vector properties in that the overlap of two crossed pixel lines could be easily deleted like in clip studio pro. Clip studio has this feature and they are also a raster program

@BoldLineDesign We don't have any plans to introduce vector tools to Procreate. However we have noted down your feedback. 💜

@Araaaabella_ I use Procreate and CSP to replace Photoshop and Vectorstyler to replace Illustrator.

Guysss what software feels like “home” to you? Mine is definitely CSP :3

@GergelyOrosz I moved away from Adobe when they switched to subscription-only. I wanted to support other options that were becoming available that were not predatory toward their customers

This cancellation dark pattern is slowly killing Adobe It turns promoters (customers who love the product and pay for it) into vocal haters I am an example as well who got tricked into the sub you cannot cancel without a penalty. I will NEVER buy or recommend Adobe again

McDonald's CEO has been posting talking-head & review content for the last 4 years Most have averaged around 20-40k views, nothing crazy A lot of executives would have seen that as a waste of time and given up But then BOOM, one video gets 14 million views, almost 500x his average view count Completely dominates the social media landscape for a couple weeks Probably drove tens of thousands of people to eat McDonalds for the first time in ages Big lesson in consistency there

@frankentoon vector brushes for affinity especially, but the fact that they don't offer 100% vector aside form two basic brushes is an issue

I'm so GLAD Apple didn't go through the Adobe Creative Cloud route with Apple Creator Studio if you bought Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, etc before, you will still get new version updates, Apple isn't gatekeeping the newer versions under their new subscription service although, i would say $12.99 for all those services is a fair price, and it's just $2.99 for students

@TailosiveTech I don't think companies can see through the haze of greed that consumers HATE the subscription model. no one wants to "rent for life"

@pvponline not syaing this happens here, but the other thing I hate is when people block or ban followers who disagree with their political opinion. aside from harassing the original post author, why not allow differing views?

@pvponline Are we not allowed to like a comic strip because of the politics of its creator? If that were the case there'd be a ton of movies and comics and art that I would have to boycott simply because our politics did not align. that seems dumb.

@LukeMiani Inevitable in who's eyes? I have been anti-subscription since before Adobe hoodwinked their client base with it. People are tired of "renting" software in perpetuity. I've seen a pushback against subscription software
