Only reasonable solution I could see cameras used for with AirPods is gesture controls like Vision Pro. Play/Pause/Skip👋🏼

The AirPods with Cameras look like the AirPods Pro but have longer stems to accommodate the camera sensors. The cameras are to see your surroundings to feed data to Siri to help answer questions. They can’t capture media.

They both have advantages. Live is still better. More human. Less scripted. More natural.
If anything, host a hybrid event. In person with key speakers live, other speakers pre recorded.

Maybe Craig should focus less on doing funny skits and more on doing his job. At least with live events they had to show something that was somewhat usable and stable enough for a live demo. Now they get away with pre-rendered stuff that they never deliver, like the Liquid Glass they showed vs what we got, or Apple Intelligence.
