The Executive Order does not somehow create law or new NCAA Bylaws. Unless and until the NCAA adopts changes, the current system and current NIL, transfer, and eligibility rules remain unchanged. And, let us not forget that federal and state courts have been the backstop. It’s only a matter of time before challenges are filed.

Interesting development. It is very difficult to make the College Football Playoff work inside the calendar when a weekend is taken by conference title games that, generally, are unnecessary. They were original money grabs that are now obsolete due to a bigger money maker.
