@Rickwins Golf Links west of Providence is often congested. I’m talking 3-4 lights before you can cross 😩

@Rickwins Not sure what can realistically be done but it would be nice to have a safe way to walk or bike across Providence at Audrey Kell &/or Golf links to connect Rea Farms and Waverly. Technically you can but the risk of getting hit is high.

@Rickwins People speed and run lights on Providence all the time. I see bad accidents way too often including one last night involving 4 vehicles. I literally pray for a hedge of protection before getting on Providence. 😩

@Rickwins First of all any street that doesn’t have a sidewalk needs one and the narrow sidewalks need to be widened.

@BBCWorld Honestly I think they both won for demonstrating tact. No, they didn’t always answer what was asked but it was mostly a healthy debate and both were cordial. Most American thing I’ve seen in years.

@CMPD This is good I would like to see it extended to violent juveniles too. Frontal lobe developed or not it’s crazy for them to assault or shoot someone and get sent home to the parents that clearly failed them in the first place.

@RealTimeNews10 In Charlotte we have MLK BLVD In Uptown. It’s not the most affluent neighborhood but it’s our downtown core and not the hood. But I agree this is not typical.

@CLTMayor You left out the part about locking violent criminals up regardless of age. The “peers caught in a cycle of crime” need to be removed from society if you really care about creating safe communities. This letter is not inspiring these wayward teens to change their ways.

@SaycheeseDGTL I can’t believe all the sympathy for the criminal who walked in waving a gun at everyone. This man eliminated the threat he’s is a hero! I’m glad he wasn’t charged he didn’t ask for this to happen.

@SaycheeseDGTL Tragic! Likely not his first crime and this is why they need to come down hard on these wayward juveniles instead of sending them back home to the same family that failed them in the first place. Locking him up sooner may have saved them both.

This is a major indictment on the city leadership, especially those who denied that there was issues to begin with. Just sad. RESIGNATIONS PLEASE!!!!
