@martinbeasnunez @fernandot Yo uso tambien Codeigniter (o Laravel), en definitiva WP es otra opcion PHP, con un *montón* ya hecho. Salvo sea algo con requirimientos especiales, WP lo puedo manejar con el codigo PHP que desee. Mayoria de sitios son presencia con articulos, E-Commerce (alto lio de cero).

@fernandot Muy buena pregunta Fernando, a mi me dejó pensando un poco más allá: ¿con todo lo que está sucediendo en desarrollo, hoy crearía un sitio de 0 con Wordpress? (Yo personalmente ahora mismo, no le veo más sentido 🥲)

Pregunta seria… ¿Creéis que tiene sentido crear temas WordPress actualmente? Entre los temas de edición completa del sitio bloques y los maquetadores ¿merece la pena? Y lo dice uno que vive como un neandertal, usando aún temas clásicos 😆⚠️

@fernandot Para mí, y es controversial quizá, el tema clásico tiene mas sentido que nunca. Si te ayuda la AI bien, pero la idea para mi es ir mas al standard base: HTML/CSS/JS via PHP. Eso sigue evolucionando. Asi podes meter cosas como CSP strict, son livianos, facil de upgradear.

@Prathkum The other day Claude told me "No" and it was wow. But yeah generally it's got this positive attitude ("See what you've built!"). ChatGPT on the other hand.. More sarcastic everyday :D

AI is the only piece of tech that does not make you doubt your skills. You build with confidence and even when you are wrong, it says "you are absolutely right."

@natmiletic Geez I was thinking about this exactly.. Beautiful sites but the Structure (CPT/Parents-Children even worse) are poorly designed.. Hardcode galore.. A lot of people don't build for the backend, and that's a hard cost to pay :)

Everyone obsesses over caching plugins and page speed optimization. Meanwhile their content strategy is garbage and their site structure is weak. Fast sites don't rank. Relevant sites that are also fast rank. Fix the foundation before you focus on speed.

Maybe you can vibe a whole project, but fixes? Even great Claude forgets things..

@CodeByNZ Love it. Specifically routing setup it's a high level configuration (one time mostly) that will drive the whole site, so, really worth it :D
