The Ahrefs numbers are probably not accurate but the traffic trajectory likely is. Things started going downhill around the time of the March 2024 core update. This is likely a site that thrived on traditional SEO and is not doing so well now that Google shifted to using a variety of new signals in what they called "an evolution in how [they] identify the helpfulness of content."

What kind of websites will survive "Google Zero" as AI answers dominate? Because many will thrive Google says you need "Non-commodity Content" So what kind of content should publishers focus on?

Hopefully googles approach will penalize ai slop and truly elevate well thought out original content that adds value. Unfortunately a lot of humans are using more of ai to push content (to stay above the buzz). I honestly think gods long form content that is cited and collaborated on by humans will start to rank up.
