Today I learned that most people who vehemently defend TCW here are moronic jackasses. Tell me more about how I’M childish because I believe that every member of the CIS isn’t inherently evil because their Dooku is or that the show doesn’t need to be good bc it’s “for kids”.

Star Wars is so funny because it's like "The Clone Wars were a deep conflict where many planets for valid reasons seceded from the Republic, causing a war with good on both sides" then you watch TCW and it's "Dooku is going to take his new ion weapon and destroy a hospital!"

@Boongo_15 I see that point of view, but I’ve learned that most people who claim to love the EU and that Lucas would stick cleanly with it are, for lack of a better term, larping and don’t really care about the EU, only pedaling it because it’s not Disney.

@CaptainLore_ I don't think so. George was always honest with his storytelling. He made what he wanted to make. All these grifters you see nowadays complaining about Disney would probably be VERY dissapointed with his SW movie. They actually think that he would 'respect' the old EU.

@CaptainLore_ Even more so, you literally can't disassociate yourself from your own moral framework and perspective, you can't engage with the story and think about what's shown to you, what the characters know, what's explicitly stated. You're wasting my time and walking in circles.

@orionproxima that every separatist across the board believes that it's cool to kill wounded clones because they aren't people, then you still have the issue of the countless Kaminoan doctors on the vessel. Those are innocent people. Most people aren't cool with murdering innocent people.

@orionproxima If Dooku starts nuking hospitals, yes the people who support him are going to notice and not all of them are going to stand for it. Planets will distance themselves politically. This happens in real life often, regardless of whether the country in question "admits it officially".

@orionproxima Sending the leader of his army to attack a whole medical facility is not a particularly stealthy movement. In fact, it's a movement very easy to prove and share with the galaxy, and no amount of propaganda will make him taking his ion cannon to a medical facility not evil.

@orionproxima Sidious does not control the planets in the confederacy. Most joined because they were disgruntled with their treatment by the Republic. These people are NOT evil or completely intent on killing Jedi and would likely not approve of blatant acts of violence against injured troops.
