@SirSnipeyy Fives’ death in TCW did that for me. Not even defending the show as a whole, but god was that a depressing end for his character. And that was before seeing the siege of Mandalore and how Ahsoka got Rex’s chip out, so at the time it seemed like Fives died for absolutely nothing.
