@reformparty_uk Are you for real? Your MPs are literally the Tory Home Secretary and immigration secretary when things were at their worst. Why the hell did you recruit THEM?

The Conservatives started this betrayal and Labour tried to continue it. Reform stood against it from day one and have now won.
Steven Swinford@Steven_Swinford

EXCLUSIVE Sir Keir Starmer has been forced to drop legislation which would cede sovereignty of the Chagos Islands to Mauritius in a further deterioration of relations with Donald Trump The Times has been told that a bill underpinning the controversial deal will not be included in the King's Speech next month after the US president branded it an "act of great stupidity" and withdrew his support The government stands by the deal and will attempt to persuade Trump to change his mind but has acknowledged that it cannot proceed without his backing Ministers are "deeply frustrated" with Trump, who initially supported the deal after extensive discussions between intelligence agencies but changed his mind during a dispute with Nato over plans to seize Greenland The government believes that it puts the future of Diego Garcia, the UK-US base in the islands which has been used during the Iran war, at risk It is concerned that Mauritius will mount a legal challenge granting it access to the waters around Diego Garcia, making it harder for the base to host nuclear submarines and patrol surrounding waters The deal was highly contentious. It would have seen Britain hand over the islands to Mauritius before immediately entering into a 99-year lease for Diego Garcia. The government claimed it would cost £3.5billion, although the Tories disputed this and said it would cost £35billion his over its lifetime. thetimes.com/uk/politics/ar…

@Mich41948Gibson @Nigel_Farage What is WRONG with you? Trump's already done this war 2 times and failed twice. Would you not rather they planned it properly , and allies alongside and were effective? Or just bomb the shit out of civilians without achieving your goals?

@CptFactcheck @Nigel_Farage I see nothing wrong with going to war with a regime that kills teenage girls for NOT covering their heads , killed 40,000 protestors , tortures dissidents , mass crane executions , rapes used as a weapon and has committed human right violations. Your morals are warped.

The Times is reporting the Chagos deal is finally dead. I have consistently said it was a bad deal for the UK, the USA and the Chagossian people. The government must now help the Chagossians fully resettle.
Nigel Farage MP@Nigel_Farage

The worst deal in history, Starmer’s Chagos sell-out, would give Mauritius veto power over US-UK use of our military base on Diego Garcia. Given Mauritius has called for an immediate ceasefire with Iran, when Washington realises, there is no chance of this deal going through.

@lane_d12 @Nigel_Farage Reform wanted to commit us to a never-ending illegal war. All they do is sneer at others. When it actually comes to big decisions they get it wrong. Every time.

Conservative Victory! After months of campaigning, we’ve won our fight to stop Starmer’s Chagos Islands surrender 🇬🇧

Labour's Chagos Surrender Deal would have put British national security at risk, undermined our defences and cost British taxpayers £35bn. We fought this unnecessary surrender of British sovereign territory every step of the way and it's thanks to the hard work of the Conservatives that this reckless and costly deal has now been scrapped. The Chagos Surrender was Keir Starmer's number one foreign policy priority as he travelled the world waving the white flag. But he has undermined our standing in the world and has once again been left humiliated. It's only the Conservatives who are committed to keeping Chagos British and defending our national interests. While Keir Starmer wanted to surrender the Chagos Islands to Mauritius, Reform pledged to give them to the Maldives. thetimes.com/article/31f7b7…

@AeroReform @glum_pensioner @Nigel_Farage Indeed and the facts are that the Greens had a huge win kicking out Reform. If you have a problem with how the election was run you should take that up with the people who were running the Council. That l’s Reform.

Those cheering on the ‘Online Safety Act’ and the termination of anonymous access to the internet - including all the Tories who not only passed it in the first place but now applaud Starmer’s authoritarianism: you are ushering in an era when the likes of Khan will crush all dissenting speech.
Sadiq Khan@SadiqKhan

Disinformation about London has become a global industry. The new “outrage economy” is growing - and it’s eating away at the bonds that hold our society together. That's why I'm calling for urgent action from social media companies and government. theguardian.com/media/2026/apr…

Later today, @Nigel_Farage and I will be announcing the winner of our energy bills draw. Stealth taxes have been loaded onto bills for years. In our first budget, Reform will scrap VAT, Carbon Price Support and the Renewables Obligation on your energy bill. That’s over £200.

@TiceRichard Richard. A couple of points. You KNOW that we can't distill or refine anything we harvest from the North Sea domestically. We've not been able to for decades. The oil is sold by private companies who pocket the profits before it is immediately sold on the international market.
