On the McNair polo, the vision was always a very lightweight cotton shirt with a structured collar. To achieve that, we used a heavier twill (with double fusing) in the collar, collar stand, inner placket, and inner portion of the outer placket. It gives the shirt more structure and durability than a standard Supima jersey. You won’t get nearly the “fraying” of the collar. We don’t currently use collar stays, but I’m very open to adding them in future runs based on feedback. One thing to be mindful of is heat. Drying on high can negatively impact the collar over time. This shirt won’t be for everyone! You might not like the more muted and faded color of garment dye. You might not like that the collar and placket are a different fabric than the shirt. That’s totally okay and it’s worth noting I’m doing 3-4 shirts this year that will be a bit different. The vision for this one is very specific though.

@Cpumpy12 I would suggest you watch your tone with my Strudel. I love to play golf and everyone who loves the game wants it to be appreciated. WM Open gets the average Joe to appreciate the game of golf.

I’m seeing a lot of WM Open hate on the BV right now. Don’t get me wrong I hate a big letter hat and Travis Matthew more than anyone. But, the WM is an exception because it’s not like every other golf tournament and it’s good for growing the game to all people.

In the offseason, Nate Oats said that this could be the best shooting team he has had during his tenure at Alabama. Clearly not. Alabama is shooting just 34.8% from deep as a team. The only player on the roster shooting greater than 37% is Aden Holloway. Wrightsell is shooting just 31.9% after averaging 43.5% from three the last two seasons. Mallette is shooting a career-low 33.7%. These are players that are familiar with Oats’ system and have struggled immensely to figure things out from deep. What are your thoughts? 🤔
