@Robbie_OR He might be filling the Shaun Murphy shaped hole (who's busy doing something else, apparently). Once Dennis retires (hopefully retire) he's the last one of the traditional lot standing
@stephen19browne Can't remember about the last 16 tickets I think they were about 70 a session when we got them last year but paid for a quarter final ticket two weeks ago and it was 90 sterling
@ADHDanny1892 All of them had jobs at the time so they weren't available and if you think Emery is a good manager for a top club after his last two attempts then God help you
@Robbie_OR Yeah will do mate, Iriola, de zerbi, Emery just to kick it off. And if you’re going to argue that Iriola and Emery don’t have a better way of squad planning and tactical adaptations I literally refuse to go any further. Now tell me how keeping Slot has worked for us?
@Robbie_OR Before I even start, are you genuinely sitting there thinking that we wouldn’t have been able to upgrade Slot? I can’t even believe people thought that after PSV let alone now 😂
@Robbie_OR Crazy thing to say. I highly doubt if we had sacked slot early season we’d go and pick up Strasbourg’s manager or equivalent. I’d actually say it wouldn’t be difficult at all to find someone within half an hour that is better than Slot. An hour and we could comfortably upgrade.
@SeanyLawson@VivianMarxismo@Dec10Smith Carrick doesn't play the system that Amorim does which is why they are doing better. Chelsea were only ever going to get someone like Rosenior. Who was available to us that was an upgrade in November? Alonso wasn't available then. And then wanted 6 months off.
@Robbie_OR@VivianMarxismo@Dec10Smith They were playing one game a week under Amorim, so what changed?
Carrick is bang average, but it shows that you need just need to get lads onside
Had Chelsea appointed a proper manager and not that gimp they’d have ended up in the top 5 IMO.
@SeanyLawson@VivianMarxismo@Dec10Smith So unless you think Klopp was coming back (he wasn't) then we would have been getting someone who wasn't up to the job and that would have jeopardized the season.
@SeanyLawson@VivianMarxismo@Dec10Smith It's not straw man at all, they are a completely different proposition. They had no extra games. And even if you think Carrick is a good manager (I dont) he would never be Liverpool manager. The Chelsea comparison is valid because they are looking at the same managers we would be
@Robbie_OR@VivianMarxismo@Dec10Smith If it was for last minute winners this season, we wouldn’t be in the European spots truth be told.
That strong start stood to us.
@Robbie_OR@Dec10Smith@SeanyLawson He had the longest unbeaten run in the history of football and you don't think that's better than the dogshit we are seeing now?
