You can now use special variables in your cron job URLs, request body or header values to insert the current timestamp or a random UUID. You can find details here: #cron-job-variables" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">docs.cron-job.org/creating-cron-…
@siliconpi We have some changes in console.beta.cron-job.org now in the job editor and history view. Let us know what you think if you want to check it out :-)
@CronJobOrg - CronJob seems to switch the timezone when showing it to me. I think the first is UTC, as per your documentation. The second is my local timezone.
The switch is unintuitive - could be shown better with the timezone mentioned.
BTW - great service idea!! #love
You can now use status badges to show the status of a cron job in your own web sites, dashboards, markdown documents etc! Just edit the cron job and click „Actions“ - „Status badge“. As usual: Free and easy to use. Have fun!
We've added yet another node to our fleet of job executors. As usual, you can find all IP addresses we're using to execute your jobs at api.cron-job.org/executor-nodes…
@AlexZDevs Our question would be why Vercel blocks legitimate traffic to their customers‘ sites. We wanted to debug this with them for long time, but couldn’t find any way to get in touch. Since we’re not a customer, we can’t open a case…
Which service do you use for your cron jobs? I have been using cron-job org, but it seems like vercel thinks it is a DDoS attach for 10 minutes every hour 😅
I will switch to Vercel cron jobs. Any other suggestion?
@FilippoAlimonda@levelsio We don’t need a terrible amount of resources, since we have a very non-fancy tech stack. We run 75M jobs a day (868/s) with 4 VPS, basically.
There are (voluntary) donation plans and we have a couple of awesome users supporting us via those, which helps with hosting costs.
@CronJobOrg@levelsio I commend what appears to be no attempt at monetizing what you've created with cron-job.org 🫡
Is there really no paid plan of any sort? How do you justify the costs associated with the volume you process?
@CronJobOrg Hello team,

@CronJobOrg i'm getting a `Activity limit exceeded. Please try again later.` when I'm attempting to login, yet your status page says all is good. Is this an account limit somehow I'm exceeding?
We experienced a service outage due to an issue at our ISP and are now up and running again. You might observe missed executions last night. We apologize for the inconvenience this caused.
Hey @CronJobOrg, a bunch of my production CRON-jobs all of a sudden were deleted (without me realizing, just logged in and they were gone)
Any idea as to why this might have happened?
Due to an issue on one of our executors, some cron jobs were not visible and creation of jobs was not possible for limited time. This should be fixed now. In case you still experience issues, please let us know. Apologies for the inconvenience!
We just passed 50.000.000 cron job executions a day 🎉 That means our servers execute about 579 cron jobs a second, with way higher bursts at the beginning of each minute.
We want to use this opportunity to thank our silicon work horses for their restless work 🙏
