@iamrahstradamus As a bettor, I’m surprised u fall into storylines. What about the several playoff games prime KD closed out? U can go to youtube. hate when legends bless us by playin great for so long we start confusing the old version of themselves with their prime and make blanket statements.

Tonight's Lakers-Rockets game is a PRIME EXAMPLE of WHY I've been telling yall for YEARS that Kevin Durant is the single most overrated player in the last 25 years. This is always who's been when he doesn't have an ALL-NBA Point Guard or Steph Curry next him. If you put too much on his plate, he becomes a turnover prone liability and all his limitations are seen. He's strictly a one-on-one player and when you pull him outside of that role, he gets exposed for what he is. Even when he's hyper efficient, this is how he's looked in many playoff series pre-Steph Curry.

But also I suppose there can be major red flags which don't become apparent until year 1-2 that can make you change your mind, and that's fair, but I do feel in a lot of cases with these young players it's just pure impatience.

Why are ppl so impatient with players who were widely/unanimously billed as raw prospects? Like, a player could have been acknowledged by everyone to be 3+ years away on draft night, but then ppl are out on them after 1 season. In a lot of cases, I'm like, what were u expecting?

Jimmy Butler isn't living up to the "Playoff Jimmy" name anymore. Finished with an underwhelming 17 points on 4/11 as the Warriors got eliminated by the Timberwolves, which continues a worrisome trend. Butler's last 11 elimination games: 17/6/6 L vs MIN 20/8/7 W vs HOU 27/9/8 L vs HOU 8/5/2 L vs HOU 29/9/5 L vs DEN 28/7/6 W vs BOS 24/11/8 L vs BOS 14/5/5 L vs BOS 29/9/5 L vs BOS 24/8/4 W vs NYK 19/7/9 L vs NYK 3-8 record, averaging only 21 PPG on only 16.5 FGA and only 50.7% true shooting. Hasn't dominated a game since the end of the Heat-Bucks series over two years ago. Racks up 7 RPG and 6 APG but regularly plays passively and scores inefficiently. Unfortunately, Butler couldn't save the Warriors.

Oh please! The old guys are the problem in Golden State. Not the youth. Draymond Green has declined and Jimmy Butler has always been a malcontent who has failed to step up in the biggest moments for multiple years now. Steph Curry is still great and deserves so much better.

I think the most essential players teams need are - A legit rim protector - An on-ball scoring wing - A paint touch PG You fill in the gaps everywhere else. It seems like teams are always missing one of these, and things fall apart in the playoffs. Not easy to find, but needed
