Great Grey Shrike Today's unexpected but most welcome bird near the end of today's ringing session at South Landing. Myself and @Jo_birding said a few choice words when we saw it in the net! The last GG Shrike to be ringed here at @FlamboroughBird was in 2002!! @FlamboroBirder

Excited to find a Little Owl within 20min walk from home this morning. 30 species seen in a couple of hours including singing chiffchaffs, skylarks and yellow hammers.
