The problem with stuff like the $88 billion metaverse is that it’s made by tech CEO’s that didn’t grow up playing videogames. Any gamer could have told you a mid PS2-era looking VR MMO game was not worth $88 billion.

@TidyWire I'm not worried about writing, it's the gameplay I'm worried about. They seem to want to get away from party based RPGs and instead make the PC all powerful. I barely noticed my party in the previous two games, I only remembered they were with me when they were marvel quipping.

@Evano_EAB These are thin trees, which were already breakable in FH5. We'll probably not be able to break the regular trees probably. What is weird though is that they made a whole forest with only that kind of trees, which in FH5 wasn't a thing.

Growing up is realising that the Garrus romance has hardly any content to it compared to all the others. And you know what? That's both a testament to how good Garrus is as a character and how great romance is in video games. People LIVED off those scraps.

I have zero idea why I waited so long to play, I've been playing BioWare games since I played Baulder's Gate 1 in like 2005.

I'm super lucky that I somehow avoided ME spoilers until 2022 where I finally decided to play LE. 400 hours into the trilogy where I beat it at least once as every class, once on insanity. Picked the red ending every time.

@SgtDangerCow I had more fun with 2042 than I did BF6.

I think the time has come to admit that BF6 is in a place where I just don't want to play it. Fundamentally it is just too flawed, and too much of a drain to play at the levels I want to.

@wesleytypes I don't want Starfield to be bad, I don't celebrate it not doing well, but nothing short of a remake-level update is going to fix it.

Say what you want about a game adding features that should have been there at launch, but plenty of beloved games have done it: No Man's Sky, Cyberpunk 2077, and now Crimson Desert. I think Starfield is going to shake free of its sour reputation in the not too distant future.

I love how NASCAR 25 came out and then we literally got NOTHING in terms of content except patches that fixed a small amount of issues. If NASCAR 26 doesn't have a better corner cutting system, more in-depth paint booth, and better AI, buying will be a hard decision to make.
