Be part of the solution not the problem. Have an opinion and let others know it. Don't worry about being popular, life is temporary.

I daydream a lot, especially about how computer logic is created. When I daydream I doodle. My random doodles get shuffled and sorted together to create an entity relationship diagram. From this a program can be designed. Next is a lot of research. Which language will run the process most accurately and efficiently? It's endless questions and refinements over days and weeks. A well meaning person, with no formal programming training, told me how out of touch I am with technology and that if I didn't embrace #ai and #vibecoding I would be left out in the cold. I smiled and walked out. "Where are you going?" He shouted. "To daydream" I replied. I will attend Google I/O and I will attend MSBuild. Then I think I will truly retire, to spend my time doodling, waiting for the lights to go off due to people who don't know how to daydream and design.

If you see this photo, please leave a comment! 😀 This is a male Blackbird singing one evening outside my Somerset home, silhouetted by a full moon. 😍 Are you hearing singing Blackbirds where you are?😊🐦

2FA means Two Factor Authentication. The safest way to login to anything currently is: To use email aliases with all accounts, each one separate and different. Create unique, memorable passwords with your imagination and only write them down, never store them online or in an app on a device, paper and pen are best. Never trust any browser with your password. Never photograph your paper with passwords on it and never share it with anyone. For apps and websites that insist on 2FA use a PAYG phone but never register or use the number for text messages. Install different 2FA apps on the device and just use them for authentication. Allow backup codes to be generated for everything but take the time to write them down. Do not print them, modern printers have memory and automatically cloud sync for "Product Improvements." It's all cumbersome I know but currently, everyone who is constantly connected, installing all the latest apps, through fear of missing out (FOMO) and just accepting default settings everywhere for convenience, is vulnerable. Finally, never use biometrics unless you absolutely have to. Kind regards Phil Branigan Retired award winning Digital Champion

@sharrond62 It depends on what The Davos administration team tells them to do next. Starmer was very clear about where he took his orders from before he got elected.

I wonder if our government will now listen to the people of the Uk or carry on in their London lanyard bubble, allowing loud activists voices to constantly drown out the (ever more frustrated) majority. Will anything change do you think?

@startpage Whilst most people are switching to Signal, which is very good as I use it myself, another option is to try out Quiet which I have been testing for a while.

@FirozCodes I have just switched to Premium+ as I am aiming to use all the extras included. It is very expensive but I justify it because despite all the noise about @X being a bad platform full of bots, everything I need as a @googledevs and @windowsinsider is right here at my fingertips.

Whilst everyone else seems to be moaning about Microsoft, I seem to be making good progress. Maybe people who winge don't know how to maintain their equipment properly for optimum performance? Start with your hardware settings just to see if you are the problem.

Now I have to wait for around 48 hours to see if everything gets restored correctly. Thankfully it's Friday so I'll check back again on Monday. I have applied to get back my original handle which is my real name. I quite like my current profile picture but I have been advised to update it when I can with something more current. It's the same with my background so, expect to see me all refreshed on Monday morning. Why am I doing all this? Breaches involving bots can take ages to clean up and I only just finished making everything safe and secure again. Have a great weekend everyone.
