A small tribute to one of my all-time favorite design books, the Catalog of fantastic things by Eric Carelman in our latest @Doly_app video

With Doly (and a bit of help of Veo3), anyone can become a merchant, even if they don't look the part.

Merchants have long asked for an easy way to create stunning videos that showcase their products in real-world settings. AI solutions often came at the cost of product accuracy, which is a dealbreaker in ecommerce. With the latest version of Doly, we've finally cracked the code.

An understated aspect of LLMs is their potential to scale artistic direction. Creating such a beautiful composition around a product for a showcase in a grand magasin would typically take hours, and would only be available to the biggest luxury brands.

Some tests with the new @Doly_app pipeline, showcasing the possibilities enabled by a single AI template. Creative direction is strong, camera work is controlled, yet each output is unique and usable from the first try (no cherry-picking here). Hybrid approach ftw @jon_barron

Object Consistency is still a big issue in videogen models, and one of the things that stops them from being used in the ecomm world. With @Doly_app, we're managing to merge best worlds : 3D for object fidelity + camera control and videogen for creativity Coming soon to the app!

@mosha92blr @Goetz @RadianceFields @albn That said, I agree that those will really make sense with spatial computing where we thing all imagery will include some sort of spatialization, and it might take some time to get there!

See latest figures from Amazon youtube.com/watch?v=8Z_4V2… showing a real ROI on 3D investment. In the industry, 3D is used to produce traditionnal 2D imagery, which is how we started Doly
