@ArbitrageOps What systems do you guys use to prevent/ minimise leakages? We do around 60k orders a month and it’s tough tracking. We are really sales oriented but know we lose money everyday month due to leakage causes by Amazon

First time in a long time but have to disagree with Chris here
If you dont make a new sku for each shipment it becomes:
1. A nightmare to provide docs any time Amazon needs them
2. Harder to get reimbursed for missing inbound
3. Much harder to beat an individual auth complaint
4. Impossible to track inventory start to finish and hold Amazon accountable for lost inventory
5. Much less profitable to sell products with an expiration date

The only way Amazon sellers can measure COGS with FIFO is by using separate SKUs every time there is a pricing change. Amazon makes it too difficult to figure out FIFO thanks to how they manage inventory. Just use average COGS like all the largest operations. It’s the only logical way to go about it.

@GavinSweeneyy Using link my books is pretty accurate as a bridge and my XERO/LMB figures to STK were pretty accurate give or take a few thousand (profit) due to STK being based on cash basis and accounts are accruals based

Does Sellerboard capture fees correctly? I've been comparing Sellerboard vs the direct biz report from amz and it's weird that the fees are not the same
I've never used sellerboard before so I wanted compare STK Vs quickbooks reporting Vs sellerboard.
STK / Quickbooks within 10% of each other, Sellerboard wildly different
SB income doesn't actually match the Amazon report at all
It's hella confusing how every software has it's 'own way' of working. I think Inventory businesses are jus a lil bit messy

@EcomguyFba Ok but you should still get it sorted because they are giving you till September 25th otherwise they will deactivate your account which will cause more hassle and also when they deactivate the us account they deactivate all your accounts.

Quick update for Section 3 UK:
I tried to click the video verification booking link:
When I login and select UK marketplace “I am not eligible for the verfication”
However if I login and select USA marketplace link works and I have a Section 3 performance notification

@MrRee2323 @kitrr0 I have turned it off but still EU countries make random sales and my SKUs are listed as inactive but on my inventory page on all country marketplaces- any idea how to avoid this too?

@EcomguyFba Are you sure the section 3 is not for the USA marketplace. I’m not 100% but I don’t think you can get a section 3 on amz uk just yet. Not 100% though.

Amazon FBA is not easy to profit; if you're simply buying and selling, you're losing money.

Another issue w/ this is that it's hard to shift the stock, because everywhere is littered with dirt cheap prices and fake goods

@noor_sharif1 Fortunately it didn't hit me, Im gated in Maybeline anyway but they let me see through my existing stock.
For those hit, their listings was removed and put into stranded.
I'm hearing that it's possible other brands have been hit too
