Amazon sellers are learning a hard truth in 2026: One marketplace should never control the future of your entire business. On May 19, ASGTG will host yet another private seller lunch in Brooklyn featuring senior @SHEIN_Official Marketplace leadership. A few senior SHEIN employees will be in attendance and will give a small presentation on how brands, private label sellers, and resellers are expanding distribution, increasing order volume, and unlocking incremental revenue through SHEIN Marketplace. As SHEIN scales its U.S. Marketplace across multiple categories, they are actively seeking experienced sellers and recognizable inventory. This is geared toward larger sellers already doing meaningful volume online, including Amazon sellers, DTC brands, private label operators, and resellers with access to strong branded inventory. We’ll be discussing what SHEIN Marketplace actually looks like for sellers today, where the opportunities are, how current inventory can potentially be leveraged into additional sales channels, and what the onboarding process looks like directly from the SHEIN team. If you do volume and are looking to expand beyond Amazon, this is a rare opportunity to sit directly with marketplace leadership in a smaller, curated setting. ⚠️ Capacity is limited, and approvals will prioritize qualified sellers. 📍 Brooklyn, NY 📅 May 19, 2026 Link in the comment below to sign up.

A seller received this today on Amazon chat "Thank you for patiently waiting. Upon checking, you were approved for Samsung brand last 05/04/2026. However, please know that even if you were already approved since you are not part of the brand on Amazon Brand Registry then your listings can still be subjected to restriction or requirements raised by Amazon or the brand itself. I have checked on our tools and determined that your listing has been subjected to new restriction wherein only sellers that are part of the brand on Amazon Brand Registry can still sell this brand products. If you want to apply to list this product on Amazon, contact Samsung to request the assignation of the Brand Representative or Reseller selling role. Because of privacy reasons we cannot share brand administrator contact information."

BREAKING NEWS: HubSpot co-founder/CTO buys $1.8M of his own company's shares. Disclosure 1: Yes, I'm that guy. (And no, I'm not used to talking about myself in the third person -- will not make a habit of it). Disclosure 2: This is not investment advice. Please do not buy or sell $HUBS shares based on this. So, why am I sharing this and writing about it? Well, for one, at least in my little world, it's noteworthy. It's been a while since I've bought HubSpot shares (I think it was back in 2022). Also, instead of answering the common questions from friends, family and colleagues, I figured it would be easier and more efficient to just answer them just once, here. 1) Why buy more HubSpot shares? Simple. I'm a big believer in the long-term vision of HubSpot and the team driving it. 2) Why do this now? Hasn't the stock been falling? Yes, the share price has dropped considerably despite what was a pretty strong quarter (results reported publicly last week). We added 10,800 net new customers in the quarter (well above the expected range), growing to about 300,000. Revenue, as reported grew 20%+. 2) Why $1.8M? That's an odd number. I purchased 10,000 shares at whatever the market price was. 3) Isn't HubSpot going to get disrupted by AI and agents? I"m biased, but I don't think so. For AI agents in GTM (marketing/sales/service) to do their work they're going to need a platform that can provide the context they need and a work engine that can take action on their behalf. They need a customer platform they can *operate* to do what they need to do and drive outcomes. They're not going to reinvent/rewrite a CRM. They're way too smart for that (and getting smarter). They're going to use what's out there. They'll bias towards systems that have a great Agentic Experience -- not just a great User Experience. (HubSpot will have both. Headless is great, but we don't think completely humanless is a good idea). 4) I heard that others bought shares on the same day. True? Yes. Our fearless leader Yamini Rangan bought shares. Our board chair Lorrie Norrington bought shares too. 5) It's been almost 20 years since you started HubSpot, why don't you slow down a bit?! (That may or may not have been from my wife). :) Answer: I love HubSpot. I love what I do. I'm a builder at heart. I'm up 2am most nights learning, tinkering and building. There's never been a more exciting time to be a builder and to serve small and medium sized businesses. I think we are going to see *millions* of entrepreneurs start businesses leveraging the power of AI. HubSpot's mission is to help them grow better. If you have other questions, leave a reply. Can't promise to answer all of them because...laws and regulations, but I'll do what I can. Cheers.

As many suspensions, compliance nightmares, and account crises as my team has handled over the years… these messages never get old 🙏 Helping legitimate @amazon sellers get back to business, protect jobs, and keep their operations alive is still one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. Every reinstatement is a reminder that behind every account is a real person, family, team, and livelihood. #Amazon #AmazonSeller #ecommerce #ASGTG

Now, Amazon has less employees. It takes you longer to wait for a resolution, or simply a reply from Amazon. You may need to wait 15 buiness days to have a comment on your account appeal from Amazon, or sometimes no reply at all. and more errors, less channel to get help from Amazon. You can see the image below. Year 2026, is a tougher year for Amazon sellers. We are glad that we diversified our income channels. @AmazonASGTG @amznsellerhelp

ASGTG ALERT 🚨 Some Nike resellers received notices from Amazon stating that certain Nike ASINs will no longer be allowed for sale by third-party sellers in the U.S. Important context: Amazon and Nike have done versions of this before. This does NOT necessarily mean all Nike products or all Nike reselling on Amazon is ending. The restrictions currently appear to apply to specific ASINs and sellers. Also, props to the suits for at least giving sellers roughly 2 months to sell through inventory. In past rollouts like this, many sellers received little or no warning at all. That said, this is another reminder of something I’ve said for years: If your entire business depends on reselling branded products on Amazon, understand that the rules can change at any time, even with authentic inventory. Next week I’m hosting a small lunch with @SHEIN_Official Marketplace leadership to help legitimate @AmazonASGTG resellers explore additional channels and expand beyond @amazon . I’ll continue working to help sellers build more resilient businesses and alternative distribution paths.

Recently, I spent time with our teams and selling partners across Mexico and Brazil. These visits are always energizing – a chance to listen, learn, and see firsthand how teams are building for customers every day with startup-like energy and missionary ownership to solve hard problems. One theme that came up repeatedly was the role failure plays in invention—to invent at scale, you need to be willing to fail at scale too. It was exciting to see how teams are using AI to help selling partners expand selection, access competitive pricing and promotions, and simplify operations while continuing to raise the bar on speed and convenience. We also spent time with selling partners through dedicated panels and conversations. Hearing directly from entrepreneurs remains one of the most valuable inputs into how we continue improving. It’s still early, but the momentum is real. Proud of what the teams across #AmazonMexico #AmazonBrazil are building.

@amznsellerhelp One of my ASIN’s lost the Buy Box because of the Competitive Price Matching. This is a product that sells on Amazon and off Amazon in general between 29.00 EUR and 32.00 EUR. Now Amazon system wants me to price this product at 1.80 EUR.
