Is it any wonder GPs in the UK are at breaking point? Is it also any wonder that patients are not receiving the service that they want? No it’s not. And it’s not your GPs fault, it’s the systematic underfunding, running down and failure to train no’s needed that is to blame.

Last bank holiday in my own practice wasn't turned off despite telling EConsult to do so. Came into over 130 consultations Tuesday morning which caused a week of additional practice pressure.

@Iainmartin1 just to correct yr article in the Times. GP surgeries have been open throughout the pandemic. For both patients & healthcare teams safety we have been mainly consulting by phone or video, only seeing those in person when they need further assessment. @LondonwideLMCs
